Ocean View Room

Upon Arrival, travel to Wakayama. Have a Photo Stop at Wakayama Castle (和歌山城), a national treasure and the symbol of the city. Step back in time at Momijidani Garden (紅葉溪庭園) small-autumn-leave, a traditional Japanese garden in the grounds of Wakayama Castle. It is one of only a few remaining Edo period gardens. After lunch (Japanese Set Menu), move on to Arita (有田). Wakayama produces more fruit than any other prefecture in Japan, one of its famous product is Arita orange. Visit Kuki Noen farm and enjoy the Orange Picking there. Move on to ToreTore Ichiba (とれとれ市場), where seafood and local products are exhibited and sold.
Tonight, pamper yourself in the onsen within the hotel.
Dinner at Hotel restaurant (Japanese Kaiseki).

Shirahama – Kushimoto – Katsuura 白浜 – 串本 – 勝浦

Around Shirahama area, there are many places of nature beauty. After breakfast, visit Sendanbeki Rock Cliff (三段壁). Rising to a height of 50 meters along a 2 kilometre stretch of the Pacific Ocean, Sandan-Beki has been created by the erosion of waves and offers spectacular views. Move on to Senjojiki (千畳敷). Facing the Pacific Ocean, Senjo-jiki is a plateau of huge rocks created by the erosion of waves. The name comes from the fact that it looks like several thousand tatami mats joined together. Continue your journey to Kushimoto Marine Park (串本海中公園), the first designated sea park in Japan. It is home to over 300 kinds of sea creatures. You can see tropical fish from the glass window of the sea observation area 140m from the shore. After lunch (Seafood Hot Pot), have a Photo stop at Shionomisaki (潮岬灯台). Shionomisaki is the southernmost tip of Honshu, Japan’s main island. With over 100 years of history, the Shinosaki lighthouse stands 19 meters high, a popular site that is still in use today. Tonight, pamper yourself in the onsen within the hotel. Don’t forget to try the special Bokido (忘歸洞), a nature cave with a hot spring. This 15 meter high, 1000 square meter cave opens on to the Pacific Ocean. You can enjoy magnificent scenery while soaking in the onsen. The name Boki-do, which means “forget to return cave”, originated when Kyushu Lord Tokugawa Yorimichi visited this hot spring and was so fascinated with the scenery that he almost forgot to go back home.

This morning, visit the magnificent Nachi Waterfall (那智滝) small-autumn-leave . It is 133 meters high 13 meters wide, and has a water flow of one ton per second. Then proceed to Kumano Nachi Taisha (熊野那智大社), a Shinto shrine located halfway up Nachi Mountain, about 350 meters above sea level. It is also a World Heritage Site.
After lunch (Tuna Kamameshi Set), visit Komano Kodo Center (熊野古道). Kumano Kodosmall-autumn-leave or Kumano Ancient Road pilgrimages route are one of the only two pilgrimage routes in the world to be recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage pilgrimage routes.
Next, transfer to Toba. Hotel check in dinner at hotel (Buffet). Tonight, taking a deep breath in the sea breeze, enjoy the Toba Bay view while pamper yourself in the Onsen.

This morning, visit the famous Ise Shrine (伊勢神宮) small-autumn-leave . The Ise Shrine is one of the most important shrine in Japan that has 2,000 years history. It has been designated a National Treasure by the Japanese government.
After lunch (Ise Udon Set), stroll around the Okage Yokocho (おかげ横丁). This small shopping district offers you an opportunity to go back in time to the 19th century. Okage means “Indebted” or “Thankful” in English. Faithful people in Ise have thanked God for daily natural blessings and health. The area thus was named Okage Yokocho to symbolize local people’s spirit of thankfulness.
Thereafter, transfer to Jazz Dream Nagashima Outlet Mall (アウトレットパーク ジャズドリーム長島). It has 240 stores and it is one of Japan’s Largest Outlet Malls. Enjoy the shopping spree there.
Next, head for the Illumination at Nabana no Sato (なばなの里). Nabana no Sato is a theme park in Mie Prefecture, famous for its four month long illumination spectacular that runs from mid-November to mid-March. There is a tunnel of light, a cloud of lights, one of the major flower display areas is turned into an “aurora”, the lake is lit up with lights, and more. You will definifely have a memorable time there.

After breakfast, visit Nagoya Castle (名古屋城), the city’s old landmark. It is almost in the center of Nagoya City, and is best known for its Kinshachi or the golden dolphins adorn on the castle roof.
After lunch (Eel Hitsumabushi), hotel check in. In the afternoon, you are free at your own leisure to explore the city.
